This garden spans across 1,077 acres. There 40 individual gardens, almost 5 acres of greenhouses and more than three miles of walking trails. There are 11,000 different kinds of trees and plants. One highlight of this garden spot is the 86-acre meadow garden.
This place also provides a protected home for numerous living creatures including beavers, birds, butterflies, and deer. The popular conservatory here includes 20 indoor gardens too and features 5,500 different plants including bonsai trees, bromeliads, cacti, ferns, and summer roses.

The Villa Taranto botanical garden covers over 39.5 acres. It includes 20,000 types of plants from literally thousands of different species. Stroll the 4+ miles of walkways and enjoy the numerous camellias, dahlias, heathers, lotus, magnolias, and tropical plants. See the fountains, ponds, terraces, waterfalls, and Italian statuary too.
Drop by in April you can enjoy the annual garden displays that feature tulips in full bloom. Admission is free.
