The unique Ravine Gardens State Park is located in Palatka.  One of the nine official New Deal-era state parks in the state, it features a pair of ravines that are as deep as 120 feet with steep, 45-degree angle banks.  It spans an area of 60 acres.  Also included here are sturdy, 30 feet high suspension bridges that cross the ravines and a 1.8-mile loop that visitors can drive, hike, or bike to take in some noteworthy views.  There are also trails into the ravines.
