9Sarek National Park, Sweden
Travel pundits proclaim this park “the most spectacular” national park in the country. It’s highlighted by almost 100 glaciers spread throughout the park. See the Rapa Valley with its nearly 6,562 foot high mountains. Since the park is found in the Norrbotten province in the Arctic Circle, you might even get the opportunity to see the famous Northern Lights.
It is still inhabited by the indigenous people. They have actually resided there as far back as anyone can recall. The ecosystem also includes arctic foxes, brown bear, lemming, lynx, moose, and wolves.

Goreme National Park, Turkey is located in Asia, not in Europe
We beg to differ! According to such sites as worldatlas.com: “The Republic of Turkey is a transcontinental Eurasian nation located between Europe and Asia.” It is a transcontinental country. In fact, a small portion is located on the Balkan peninsula in Southeastern Europe.
In other words, it qualifies for inclusion on this list.
Thanks for reading!
Nice
Thanks for the kind word and for your support.
Only a small part of Turkey is Europe. The rest of the country is Asia, with people living many centuries back.
Hi!
Yes! I have actually acknowledged that elsewhere on this website. The point is since part of the country is in Europe it met the qualifications for inclusion on the list. It is similar to including Niagara Falls as a favorite American honeymoon destination. We all know part of the place is in Canada but nevertheless it is the part of the area that is physically in the USA that gets it on the list.
I hope that clarifies things for you.
Thanks for reading!
So according to you Will Phoenix, Vladivostok, Primorskij kraj, Russland is in Europe, since St. Petersburg and other parts of Russia is in Europe.
It’s just a tiny bit of Turky that are in Europe. Therby this National Park should not be on this list.
Hello!
I am sorry but I have already addressed the issue citing online sources. Turkey is a transcontinental country and those who created the list considered it eligible for the list. While I am the person who wrote the article, I did not create the list.
I suggest that you read the response more carefully and proofread your own comment as well. I usually get paid to write. Therefore, if you wish to discuss this further, you can either send me money or get your mother to buy me several drinks.
So many adds, not interested
