77. The Common Sundew

Some call it the Round-Leaved Sundew. Unlike most other flowers, this one is known for its sticky hairs and glands instead of normal petals. The adhesive-like substance on the hairs gleams in the sunlight and draws insects to it. Darwin himself authored nearly 300 pages on this unique plant. He discussed in some detail all the various experiments he once conducted on the flower.
