33. The Corpse Flower
This famous flower is endemic to Sumatra. The corpse flower or corpse plant has the largest recorded unbranched bloom on the planet. Unfortunately, it is thus named because it has the odor of a corpse, an animal carcass or other rotten flesh. Still, the flower width measures in at an amazing three feet. Also known as the carrion flower, it has no visible leaves or stems and is noted to be a fast-growing plant as well.
