“The Romantic Road” was based on the old Roman road and was built after the war. One of the country’s biggest attractions, you can use this route to see numerous historic locations including the famous fortified medieval city of Rothenburg. Because of its connection to Wilhelm Wohlfahrt, the famous owner of the original Christmas shop. It’s known as “the Christmas Town.” You can visit the Wohlfahrt Christmas Village and the Christmas Museum all year round.
