November and December are great months to visit Bruges and take in the quaint parks, magnificent medieval architecture, and impressive plazas and squares. Indeed, the entire city becomes a virtual winter wonderland. Christmas lanterns light up the cobbled streets and the Christmas markets are picture-perfect.

If you loved “Edward Scissorhands”, just wait until you attend the famous Snow and Ice Sculpture Festival. Go ice skating under the festive lights on the outdoor rink by Grote Markt. If you’re traveling with a lover, be sure to take a meandering romantic stroll along the canals too.
