If you are a fan of the Narcos series on Netflix, you are already well-versed with the culture and setting of Columbia. However it isn’t all about drugs and crime infestation in this adventure packed land. There are innumerable fascinating experiences to be enjoyed – from dining at one of Bogota’s eclectic eateries to visiting Cartagena’s coast and colonial past. Those bitten by the adventure bug can sign up for a six day trek to Ciudad Perdida (housed on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta range). This fascinating city dates back a few hundred years before (though it was discovered only recently in the 1970s) the iconic Mahchu Pichu.
