Come here on any regular day and you won’t find anything less than a dozen large outdoor flea markets and busy farmer’s markets selling everything from Chinese antiques to rare book editions to fresh cheese and sinful waffles (yum, we are drooling already). It’s not done yet, because these are only daily markets.
There are two dozen more markets that set shop once or in some cases twice a week. An absolute flea market paradise, Amsterdam is also the only destination in the world which has a floating market dedicated solely for flowers. You are sure to find plenty of fresh and exotic floral delights that are totally unlike anything you’ve seen before. Stock up on fresh produce and cook your own meals to save money on food.
