10Setenil de las Bodegas, Spain

Setenil is a no-fuss, small town in southern Spain. What’s so special about it, you ask? Well, for 800 years, the town has existed inside a rock. All houses have roofs and other parts made of basalt rocks. Locals are protected from the blistering sun, and harsh wind. Truly unique abode this in the middle of Spain’s mountainous countryside.
