10The Troll’s Tongue, Norway

The dramatic rock protrusions were caused by fragments of rock spattering from the mountain bodies. The unusually named Troll’s Tongue is suspended 350 meters over the lake. It quite a challenge to access it as the only way to get there is via a 12 kilometer walking trail. You’d have seen this wonder in numerous travel pictures by now, though experiencing the edge of the stone feeling in person is a different adrenaline rush altogether.
