6Antilia, Mumbai

One of the world’s largest and most expensive private residence (though slightly ugly looking) costs a whopping $2 billion. Owned by the fifth richest man in the world (businessman Mukesh Ambani), the residence has 27 floors, out of which the first to six floors are reserved for parking 168 cars. The house features, among other things, lots of swimming pools, a hanging garden, a drop dead gorgeous ballroom, a luxury spa, and a helipad right at the top. About 600 staff members are hired only to manage this earthquake proof skyscraper.
