77. Yangtze River & Three Gorges

The Chinese call it Chang Jiang (“Long River”). It stretches for over 6,000 kilometers. It’s the world’s third longest river. The Yangtze runs from Tibet to Shanghai. It has served as the country’s major transportation route for over 2,000 years. The most popular tourist spots here are the beautiful Three Gorges, Xiling, Wu, and Qutang.

  1. I’ve done five out of the fifteen – our China holiday was incredible, we came home with a new insight & perspective – so diverse, a country with fast forward growth & a beautiful blend of old & new. Loved it
