From there you cross the dangerous Drake Passage prior to your arrival in this chilling, sub-zero land of ice and snow. There amidst the endless blue horizons and tall peaks, you will find large colonies of both Adelie and emperor penguins. You may also spot albatrosses, seals, and whales. You can even go kayaking and ice camping here if it strikes your fancy.
