It’s no point being a fairy tale destination when your canals are all clogged up due to errant tourist activities. Locals have been grappling to have their houses over water and preventing the tiny streets and canals from clogging. Yes the inspiring Italian architecture has been taken over by ostentatious cruise ships that look like they’ve descended from tourist hell.
