3Hackeberga Castle, Sweden

This is a French Renaissance inspired estate that was built in the 19th century. Hackeberga is known for its lush private peninsula on the idyllic Lake Hackeberga in the southern part of Sweden. Those seeking a serene, laidback and royal stay in the middle of soothing natural beauty will find it perfect. The grounds are replete with indigenous plants and animals, and is perfect for a leisurely stroll. There are only 27 rooms, though each one of them is said to be remarkably comfortable. Oh, and the in-house restaurant serves scrumptious food!

  1. Are you kidding me? I’ve been to a few of these castles in Ireland and UK and the one in Croatia and they are nothing like the ones I’ve seen in Granada and Córdoba in Spain

  2. I don’t think I could afford any of these! But it is nice to imagine myself in Switzerland or Scotland. I have enjoyed the visit in my imagination! Thanks, breathtaking.
