11Angel Falls, Venezuela

Venezuela’s majestic Angel Falls are the planet’s tallest uninterrupted waterfalls at around 3200 feet, sending a sole drop at 2650 feet. The falls cascade from a dramatic tabletop mountain in the heart of a deep rainforest, with the isolated region regularly covered in clouds (surreal). On a bright, clear day, you’ll catch magnificent view of the falls, and even spot a rainbow if you are lucky.

Once you reach the Cainama National Park (where the falls are housed), Angel Falls can be accessed by boat. The falls surroundings are covered with thick vegetation and rich indigenous wildlife.

Niagara Falls simply did not quite make it into the top 22 in the world but it was on there a little lower. In fact, when you focus on North America it always makes the list! Thanks for your comment and for reading our stuff!

To be fair, everyone has their favorites. I rarely have anything to do with selecting finalists unless there is recent repetition. But if I am assigned to write a sequel, I will suggest them. Thanks for your comment and support!

  14. Hi!
Yes, there are some great waterfalls in the world. More than most people know. I don’t generally choose the winners. Although your choice may have made the top 25 had we not had to limit it at 22. Thanks for your comment!

  17. Hi!
Someone asked that question years ago when it was first published. Either one was mysteriously dropped from the list OR one includes multiples, so we counted it twice. Thanks for your support and hopefully we will be publishing more material here soon.
