Veteran visitors say you can visit this place year-round. As previously reported, you can snowmobile during the winter and hike the 100 miles of trails in the summer. Pictured Rocks features deep, verdant forests, historic lighthouses, lovely lakes, sandstone cliffs, hilly sand dunes, and waterfalls.
