While Milau Viaduct is known to be the world’s tallest bridge, Danyang Kunshan Grand is the longest known bridge on the planet. It is 102 miles long, and Danyang’s rail bridge is a part of the high speed railway network to link Kunshan and Danyang. The project cost a staggering $8.5 billion, with around 10,000 people being employed on site. More than 450,000 steel tons were used to build the mammoth structure.
