9Tucson

This culturally rich metropolis was created by California gold rushers, Mexican ranchers, Spanish missionaries, and others. The downtown area is both modern and historic depending on where you roam. Take the historic bike tour.

Visit the Arizona Historical Society, the Historic Pima County Courthouse, the San Xavier del Bac Mission, and the Presidio San Agustin del Tucson. Visit Tucson Botanical Gardens, Explore the breweries, and restaurants on 4th Avenue and Congress Street. UNESCO declared this city a “City of Gastronomy” thanks to its local cuisine. Suck down some Sonoran hot dogs, steak fingers, chimichangas, and tamales too!
