The desert cacti here in Joshua Tree look a lot like the “Trufula Trees” in Dr. Seuss’ book The Lorax. This odd desert landscape is unique. Take a trip up the Rotating Aerial Tramway to the very top of nearby San Jacinto Mountain too. Have a snowball fight on the same day you hiked in the desert.
