This ancient archaeological site is nestled within the Yucatan Forest. Hailing back to 500 A.D., it was once one of the continent’s largest, thriving Mayan cities. It spans an area of roughly six square miles and includes such striking structures as the Great Ball Court, El Castillo, and the famous Temple of Kukulcan.
