5Chinatown
Chinatown is subzone situated in the Outram district within Singapore’s Central Area. Historically-speaking, Chinatown has always been home to a concentrated ethnic Chinese populace. Hence, the name.
While it is currently reported to be much “less of an enclave than” in the past, the area still has both a cultural and historical import. It is a bustling place that features beautiful temples, tasty street food, and numerous shopping choices. If you’re looking for inexpensive souvenirs for all your friends and family members, be sure to hit Pagoda Street. Interestingly, it was once a center of the slave trade and opium dens.
I have a heart for Singapore so clean and pretty
There are certainly some fun things to do there!
