2Haarlem
Netherland’s tulip growing hub has earned the unofficial moniker of Bloemenstad (flower city) with good reason. Apart from hosting the Annual Bloemencorso Parade, this peaceful town is nestled on the shores of River Spaarne. Haarlem is home to several fascinating medieval structures and museums (mostly located in and around Grote Markt center), the most notable being Teylers Museum. Art enthusiasts make a beeline for Franz Hals Museum, which houses the artworks of several illustrious Dutch artists.
