This varied cluster of islands comprises the inner islands (primarily formed from granite) and outer islands (mostly consisting of cays and reefs). Though there are 115 islands in the group, only 16 of the have accommodation options for visitors (ranging from swanky luxury hotels to cheap guest houses). Lots of direct flights ply between Johannesburg and Mahe International Airport. Island hopping around Seychelles is also easy with options such as charter boats, ferries and domestic flights.
