1. The United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates, or UAE, is situated at the eastern end of Western Asia’s Arabian Peninsula. Its capital is the scenic city of Abu Dhabi. Its most populous city is the coveted destination of Dubai which is also an international hub.
This is perhaps one of at least a dozen different nations to earn a Level 1 travel advisory in 2022. The CDC reports that there is a “low level of COVID-19” here. It’s slotted in at 26 on the GPI. Be on your best behavior as flogging is still a legal punishment here.
