The Chatwal Lodge opens to the public on April 1st. It is ensconced in Bethel, in The Chapin Estate on 30 acres of protected land roughly 90 miles out of New York City. You’ll have your choice of 11 different suites complete with arched windows, reclaimed wood walls, vaulted ceilings, and private patios or lovely lakeside decks.
Looking for more adventurous accommodations? Book the 850-square-foot tent suite that completes with a wonderful wraparound veranda. You can also book a unique 1,000-square-foot treehouse that towers 25 feet above the ground. Go fly-fishing, horseback riding, fly fishing, and kayaking. Relax with an Ayurvedic spa treatment, meditate, dine at the farm-to-table restaurant, and sample something from the wine cellar too.
