Taksim Square attracts a lot of tourists, but this little neighborhood is a well-kept secret. You’ll find this spot along the Bosphorus just north of Beyoglu. Here between these rather narrow streets, you will discover a dense grouping of shops and vendor stalls.

After sundown, you can stash your souvenirs and experience the local nightlife. Cruise the bustling bars and numerous restaurants. This is a hot spot for Istanbul’s rich young crowd so prepare to pay a bit more for the food, drinks, and great views.
