9Melissani Lake, Greece

Charming Melissani Lake flows through Melissani Cave. It is nestled on the isle of Kefalonia northwest of the town of Sami and is quite famous for its clear water. Veteran visitors remark that it is so clear that boats there appear to be floating in the air. According to classic Greek mythology, this caverned place is actually a nymph’s den. On a nice day, the reflection of the sun actually reflects off of the clear sea-green water and creates a striking effect.

  3. Ps. Lake Malawi is, in fact, mostly in MALAWI. Part of it is territorial Mozambique. And it forms a border with Tanzania
