16St. George Island
You’ll find the 22-mile St. George Island on the “Forgotten Coast” a.k.a. the Florida panhandle. It’s a bit of a throwback since it is highrise-free. Nevertheless, there are a number of different romantic dining options here as well as art galleries and boutiques. It’s less crowded than further south, and more charming too. While the fishing and swimming spots are also noteworthy, there are only two hotels on the entire island so book your room well in advance.
