19Dry Tortugas
Finally, 70 miles from Key West, is the remote Dry Tortugas. This is one of the state’s best national parks. Take the two-hour boat ride or climb aboard a seaplane to this 100-square-mile island.
Please note, that there are no restaurants here. Thus, this place is best for couples who enjoy camping. It will cost you $30.00 per couple but that covers an entire week. Other highlights include historic Fort Jefferson, which harkens back to the 1800s, and coral reefs complete with shipwrecks which makes it a great place for swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling.
