7North Beach At Fort De Soto Park
If your idea of romance involves outdoor activities and historical sites, then this is the place for you. North Beach spans an area of more than 1,000 acres between Tampa Bay and the gleaming Gulf of Mexico. Part of a large state park, the US military has been using this area since the 1800s but the fort wasn’t built until the 1960s. Here you can camp, fish, hike, kayak, snorkel, and swim.
