According to the founders of ELYT Charter Tahiti, Torea Colas and wife, Emily Biotteau-Colas, the boat was designed based on a number of different eco-friendly aspects. The company employed state-of-the-art technology and modern construction techniques with a focus on space in order to create an onboard environment that will provide guests the comfort and safety that today’s vacationers are seeking.
The luxurious vessel includes “an in-hull wastewater treatment system.” More importantly, unlike many boats, it is not powered by a diesel engine. It will be powered by lithium batteries and solar panels.
This “means total silence, no smell, and no pollution.” Additionally, it is quite apropos that Tahiti Solar panels will be used on the boat. After all, as noted on the site, “Sun is god in Tahiti. it shines over our beautiful nature.”

This luxury four-bedroom houseboat is 51 feet (over 15 meters) in length. It will sleep as many as eight guests. The vessel will reportedly be fully furnished with “true walk around double beds” “two standard house bathrooms, a large dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a bar, a sun terrace, flatscreen TV, and barbecue grill. There will also be a rooftop lounge that provides passengers with perfect 360-degree views, inflatable paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and even a concierge service. Travelers will also be given the opportunity to hire on a crew and personal chef.
