If you are not familiar with desert environments, you might think they are dull and boring. Ah, but the multi-colored cliffs and sand provide visitors with some distinctive views. Arizona provides travelers with a unique blend of Indigenous culture, natural rock formations, and Old West towns. There are also great places for exceptional stargazing and a number of picture-perfect locations such as national monuments and canyons.
