The ruckus Mardi Gras Carnival is said to be “fun for all ages.” Regular readers know that this colorful conglomeration of multi-colored beads, ribbons, and costumes begins two weeks before famous “Fat Tuesday” and comes complete with a musical, float-filled parade. Harking back to the 1800s, the official colors are gold, green, and purple and represent power, faith, and justice respectively.
