4Ban Gioc-Detian Falls, China, And Vietnam
Ban Gioc-Detian Falls is the official collective name for a pair of falls found on the Quây Son River which straddles the border between Vietnam and China. It is 272 kilometers (271+ miles) due north of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. If you travel to these falls at any time during the wet season, you will be practically deafened by the sound of the rushing water thundering 30 meters (98 feet) downward to strike the rocks below.
