15. Ochate, Spain
Situated on the quiet outskirts of Burgos, Spain, this ghost town was abandoned in the late 1800s. While bad weather, the Spanish Flu, and a murder may have helped empty this village, no one knows for sure. Ever since it has allegedly been haunted by an unnamed murdered shepherd, and UFOs were reportedly seen there in the 1980s.
16. The Eisriesenwelt Ice Caves, Austria
Austrians claim this group of caves is the gateway to Hell. They are the world’s largest and stretch for 42 kilometers into the mountain. Locals have historically avoided this network of crystalline structures and awesome auditoriums. Scientists say they were formed during a shift in the tectonic plates.
