21. Coronado Island, California
You’ll discover Coronado Island across the Coronado Bridge from sunny San Diego. Enjoy a long walk on Coronado Beach. If you rent a chair from Del Beach Services, they’ll even throw in drink service and a meal.
Visit historic Hotel del Coronado. A quarter of a mile from there you can spot the sunken SS Monte Carlo which is visible during low tide. Consider a romantic dinner for two at one of the hotel’s onsite eateries.
22. Las Vegas, Nevada
“Sin City” is famous for gambling but it can be romantic too. In fact, it’s the only place on the planet that combines elements of Paris, Rome, and Venice. Take an intimate gondola ride in the Venetian/Palazzo hotel. Book an in-room couples massage. Take in the view of the Vegas skyline from the favored High Roller at the Linq. See the city lights from the iconic Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel too.
