37. Palouse Falls, Washington
Found in southeastern Washington, this 200-foot-high waterfall crashes down into the Palouse River. It was formed in the Ice Age by floods. Look at this natural wonder from just the right angle and the water appears to be coming out of the very rocks.
38. The Grand Canyon, Arizona
Regular readers know the stunning red rust Grand Canyon is one of the well-known Seven Wonders of the World. It’s approximately 70 million years old and opens into a gorge that’s 18 miles wide. It spans an astonishing distance of 277 miles.
