Some say the Trolltunga is one of Norway’s “most impressive: natural rock formations. Situated almost 1,100 meters above sea level, it is perhaps one of the country’s biggest tourist attractions. That’s pretty amazing considering that one needs to hike almost 13.5 kilometers over rocky, steep terrain.
Veteran visitors say it is worth the effort though as from there the panoramic views of the Ringedalsvatnet are beautiful. Indeed, this lovely turquoise lake is found ensconced amidst glaciers. You can get great pictures from Troll’s tongue too!
