3Jellyfish Lake, Oceania

Some visitors call this body of water in the island nation of Palau in Oceania a “magical lake.” It is rife with a variety of marine animals including its namesake jellyfish. Don’t fret though because they’re very small so their stingers are no danger to humans.
Visitors can actually swim with and even touch them. Mind you, there are strict rules before you can participate. You must have no sand on your body. You also must not be wearing any sunscreen or any other chemical substance that could be dangerous to the balance of the jellyfish’s ecosystem. This protocol preserves the habitat and keeps them thriving there.
