Situated in Arizona in the southwestern US, this exceptional canyon includes both an upper and lower section and swirling sandstone walls that rise as high as 120 feet. The best time to visit both areas is either in the late afternoon or early morning, that’s when the views of the red rock here are the most memorable. This canyon is also one of the world’s “most visited places.” At present, it can only be visited with an official guide because it’s part of the Navajo Nation.
