Hoping to see thousands of cherry trees in bloom? Visit the beautiful Jerte Valley ensconced in central Spain, approximately three hours out of the capital. This unique valley is the highlight of the country’s cherry-growing region.

It is home to 5 million cherry trees! These are actually snow white instead of pink. Nevertheless. It is a spectacular sight to see. Don’t miss the annual Fiesta del Cerezo en Flor and celebrate all things cherry!

    Thanks for your comment and for reading the article. I can think of a couple of places that also have cherry blossom trees somewhere. Unfortunately, only these places made the top 14. No doubt Korea would have made a longer list. I do not really choose the winners though for the most part.
