The famous Hanging Gardens of Bali is ensconced between the Dalem Segara temple and the Ayung River on a lush forested hillside. While it is only 30 minutes out of Ubud, it has made veteran visitors feel as if they were in some far-off, private place all their own. One of the highlights here is the getaway’s Instagram-famous swimming pool. It is a doubledecker infinity pool that hovers above the verdant jungle.
