Virgin Australia Airlines is headquartered in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. In 1999, it was launched under the name of Virgin Blue. In 2012 it was rechristened Virgin Australia and now serves 52 destinations in 14 countries with a fleet of Airbus and Boeing jets.
