6Bangkok

Thailand’s capital city is also its busiest and most cosmopolitan city, replete with night clubs, adult entertainment districts, erstwhile temples, colorful markets and food carts selling cheap, filling meals. Head to Khao San Road or Pratunam for bargain shopping or admire remnants of Bangkok’s old-worldly charm in preserved canals, floating markets and flower shops. Don’t leave without visiting the Wat Phra Kaew temple housing the Emerald Buddha Statue, while visiting families will enjoy a trip to Safari World.
