Well well, Scotland was one of 2017’s must visit destinations, and with good reason. Why is October a great time to visit this United Kingdom hotspot? Simply because of the stunning fall hues around the region. This is also when you are most likely to spot a red deer. Go castle hopping (plenty for you to write an entire storybook), drink the famed Scottish whiskey, and don’t leave without tucking into a plate of Scottish lobsters.
