77. Steel Dragon 2000 Nagashima Spa Land Amusement Park, Mie Prefecture, Japan
This is the world’s longest and sixth fastest roller coaster. It’s also Japan’s second fastest. The attraction is 318 feet high with the initial hill at 307 feet. It reaches 95 m.p.h. during the very first drop. It features two hills that are both over 200 feet high and lasts for four minutes. It is also perhaps one of the most earthquake-proof roller coasters as well. You must be between 4.5 and feet tall to be seated on this attraction.
You’re wrong about #10. The Fury 325 at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina is 325 high and reaches a top speed of 95mph. Both taller and faster than the Intimidator.
Hello,
I believe this article was published a couple years ago. My guess is either The Fury was not officially opened when the list itself was created or it was disqualified for one reason or another. It seems the list changes a bit every so often, in fact. But, hey, if there is enough interest in doing an updated article I will gladly write it.
Thanks for the comment though and your support!
