The day-tour company Urban Adventures expects a significant spike in interest in the US capital. Experts note it’s due to more than the upcoming election. They believe it’s due to the new and renovated hotels, the revitalized waterfront, exceptional museums, and a great restaurant scene that’s hotter than it’s ever been. Must-try restaurants will include Officina with its Michelin-starred celeb chef Nicholas Stefanelli, the critically-acclaimed Maydan and the new French eatery the Pembroke.
Greenland
Greenland is now in the spotlight because it is thought to be the next location for “climate change.” Top tour operators report a rise in interest in the massive Arctic Circle island known as Greenland. There will be many tours available in 2020.
For example, Abercrombie & Kent will have a 15-day Ultimate Iceland and Greenland Cruise departing August 2020. Ponant, a French company, is offering a 15-day sailing trip along the unexplored eastern coast.
