5. Royal Botanic Gardens, England
Founded in 1840, the Royal Botanic Gardens are located in Kew by the famous Thames. It features the largest collection of plants in the world. It includes more than 30,000 varieties of plants and one of the biggest herbariums on the planet.
There’s even a library with more than 750,000 books including priceless volumes by famous botanist Joseph Banks. You will also find a Conservatory, a Palm House, a Temperate House, and a Water Lily House. Finally, it is one of only three botanical gardens that are included on the official list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
